Overview

GuruHub is a full-stack Learning Management System: expert video courses, a comprehensive course builder, standalone quizzes with reusable question banks, offline downloads, cross-device progress sync, and in-app messaging between instructors and students. The platform spans a modular Spring Boot 4 backend exposing 240+ secure REST APIs, a Flutter mobile app for iOS and Android, and a Vue 3 + Vuetify dashboard for admin, agency, and instructor analytics — fully bilingual (English + Arabic with RTL layouts).

The Challenge

An LMS lives or dies on trust: paid course content must stay protected on students' own phones, quizzes must be cheat-proof even when students sit side by side, and learning can't stop when the internet does — all across four commercial plan tiers gated without code changes.

Our Approach

1. 01

   Protect the content

   Layered enterprise-grade mobile security around the course material: freeRASP device integrity, Firebase App Check, SSL pinning, screenshot prevention, and single-device session enforcement with admin-approved device resets — so paid content can't be shared or captured.

2. 02

   Make cheating pointless

   Every quiz attempt gets its own deterministic randomization (attempt-seeded shuffle) — two students sitting together see different question orders, yet each student's order stays consistent on resume. Timed attempts and live-attempt unpublish guards close the remaining gaps.

3. 03

   Learn offline

   Built offline downloads so full courses stay available without a connection — rare among LMS apps — with content still protected on-device, and playback position and progress syncing across devices once back online.

4. 04

   Build & Ship

   Modular Spring Boot 4 + Spring Modulith monolith with enforced module boundaries, a four-tier commercial plan system with AOP feature gating, a Clean Architecture Flutter app, and a Vue 3 dashboard — deployed with Docker, CI/CD, and Shorebird OTA updates.
